3 Cross-Country Cyclists Cycle 3400 miles in 37 days: Seattle, WA to South Seaside Park, NJ
Ten years ago, five determined and dedicated IOCC supporters cycled their way across the U.S. to celebrate IOCC's tenth anniversary of service providing humanitarian assistance worldwide. The Race to Respond riders raised funds for those in need and put IOCC on the map with the new Orthodox Christian supporters they encountered through cities and towns across California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.   This summer, Jim Angelus will take his team eastward from Washington to New Jersey in honor of IOCC's 20th anniversary of humanitarian service. The cross-country route will take the cyclists along the northern tier of the country from Washington, Idaho, Montana, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, covering approximately 3,200 miles in 37 days.  The team includes a veteran from the 2002 ride, Konstantin Kanelis, who travels to the U.S. from the Netherlands to participate. New on the tour is our youngest cyclist, Brett McKey. Brett’s father, Dan, and their close family friend, Ora Shetler are contributing their time and effort as SAG Crew Chiefs to support our efforts across the country. The timeline for this cross-country cycling event is June 25 – July 31.    We ask that you support our efforts for the IOCC donating to our cause in the coming months. Information will be forthcoming regarding sponsorships and contributions.
